1. Recording Policy
Leitner AI helps you capture and transform lectures, meetings, and study materials. Before you record or upload anything, please follow these rules:

| Institutional policies | Make sure your school, university, workplace, or instructor permits recording and sharing. It's your job to know and honor their rules. |
| Copyright law | Don't record or upload copyrighted text, images, audio, or video unless you have written permission from the rights-holder. |
| Privacy & confidentiality | Never record or share private conversations or legally protected information without consent. |
Leitner AI does not endorse or accept liability for recordings that violate these requirements. By using the app, you agree to indemnify Leitner LLC against any claims arising from unauthorized recordings or uploads.
2. License to Use Leitner AI Content
So long as you comply with these Terms:
- Leitner LLC grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use content in the app for your own, non-commercial, educational purposes.
- You may not copy, scrape, or download content with automated tools (scripts, bots, data-extractors) unless Leitner LLC gives you written permission.
- Subscriptions and paid licenses are single-user only. Sharing access is prohibited. We may apply reasonable limits on devices, time, or volume of material to prevent misuse.
3. Refund Policy
1. Eligibility
Refunds are generally available only if:
- You request them within 30 days of the initial purchase or renewal, and
- You have not excessively used the service or breached these Terms, and
- A technical problem caused by Leitner AI could not be fixed in a reasonable time, or
- You were charged accidentally or twice.
2. Inactive Accounts
We don't issue refunds for unused or forgotten subscriptions. Please manage your plan in your account settings.
3. How to Request
- Email support@leitnerai.com with the subject line "Refund Request."
- Include your name, the email tied to your account, the plan you purchased, and why you want a refund.
- We'll respond within 5-7 business days.
4. Pro-rated Refunds
If you cancel mid-cycle, you may receive a partial refund for the unused days.
5. Non-Refundable Scenarios
- Requests made after 30 days of purchase.
- Refunds for promotional or discounted pricing.
- Monthly fees after the first 30 days.
- Accounts terminated for violating these Terms.
6. Processing Time
Approved refunds return to your original payment method; banks may take 7-14 business days to post the funds.
7. Policy Changes
Leitner LLC may update this refund policy. Significant changes will be posted here.
4. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. If the changes are material, we'll notify you in-app or via email. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
